THE CHARLESTON UNITED SOCCER CLUB BOOSTER CLUB

Mission Statement:

The CUSC Booster Club is organized to help promote, support, and improve the Players, Coaches, and Administrators associated with the Charleston United Soccer Club by:

1.      Establishing a fundraising support staff to provide financial resources that supplements the CUSC annual budget, of which primarily comes from player’s registration and training fees.

2.      Increasing the club’s volunteer base to provide administrative and management assistance for operational functions and special events.

3.      Maintaining direct contact with the public and local businesses to promote grassroots soccer.  

Supported programs:

1.      Immediate Need: Upgrade the Club’s facility at Drayton Elementary with lighting, drainage, and soil grading to house 1 full size field and multiple U12 and U10 fields

2.      Increasing player base by supplementing developmental programs to competitively recruit and train players

3.      Player scholarship

4.      Club Tournaments

5.      Maintaining qualified coaching staff as well as increasing coaching numbers to properly train new and existing players

6.      Fitness training

7.      Performance testing

The Booster club will utilized the resource immediately available – the clubs members.  We will actively promote excitement within the club by assigning or delegating various tasks to our members such as contacting and asking area businesses for their support through equipment or monetary donations; seeking donations of professional services from our club members.  Overall, we want to instill an active participation within our current members to achieve the Club’s goal – Soccer growth within the Charleston Area and World Domination!     

Presently, Robert and Lisa Brammell will facilitate the Booster Club until it can elect its board of officers.  Positions needed to be filled are: President, treasurer, secretary, and various Vice Presidents.
